Town Meeting

 

Milford operates under a Town Meeting/Board of Selectmen/Town Manager form of government.

The inhabitants of the Town are requested to assemble at least once a year to transact the business of the town - including setting budgets, authorizing expenditures, raising revenues, and enacting ordinances.

The Town has historically scheduled the annual town meeting in a bifurcated manner, with election of officials taking place on one day and the balance of the meeting taking place on another.
